More Health News

Ron's urologist appointment yesterday did not turn out well. There is a mass/tumor in his bladder. We were both surprised because he's had good checkups for over a year and at his December 2008 appointment, everything was fine! On April 1, he goes into the hospital for biopsy and perhaps removal.

One day at a time. That's the lesson I've learned from Ron and it has stuck. Yesterday we had bad news. In 2 weeks we'll find out if it's malignant or benign. In between, as far as we are concerned, he is healthy. Life goes on -- until it doesn't.

Had Ember Rois today. It was a gorgeous day so we went to the park in Colonie. She was so happy all she did was giggle. She cried, though, when it was time to go home 2 hours later. After we rested from 1 to 2 (no nap, thank you, but quiet time), she rode her big wheel all over a few blocks around her house. I came home exhausted!

Weather - It's been fairly nice and the high temp today was mid 50s with lots of sun.

Gas prices - Remain stable at about $2.00 a gallon.

Exercise - Running around with Em was my exercise today.
