Bummer

Ron told me last night "the guys" -- including him of course -- won't be home until Wednesday. He's been gone since Thursday. I've enjoyed my alone time, but I now miss him and want him home. ::sigh::

Today I did grocery shopping for November. Retirement check won't be deposited until Friday, so I charged the stuff and will pay MC on-line when retirement funds are available. Paying bills on line is soooooo easy and convenient.

I left for Catskill about 9:30 and got home at 12:45. Long morning at Wal-Mart and then Price Chopper. A lot of groceries were bought as well as a Christmas present for Em and a pair of jeans, a top, a hat and mittens. I'm alone so carried in over $300 worth of stuff. That's a lot of plastic. It was another 45 minutes before the stuff was put away, not including the meat. I took a break from work before tackling the job of dividing, wrapping, labeling and taking downstairs to the freezer.

The weather - In a nutshell, it sucks today. It is chilly and started to rain about 11, and it's still raining hard.

Lifew lessons - Don't get my hopes up because something can and often does change plans. I miss Ron and am disappointed he won't be home tomorrow.
