My reason for blogging was to keep track of my life. That is, what I do on a daily basis for it seems that one day blends into another with me not remembering what the hell I did!

I’ve been so busy lately that I haven’t had time to blog. Also, I haven’t been in the mood to write. From now on, though, I’m going to do my best to write something every day, not worrying or bothering with complete sentences or even ideas if I have time only to write down the highlights of the day.

Today is Friday, June 27. Looking back at this week: Monday was Ron’s colonoscopy day. He had to go to St. Peter’s because of health issues. All is well. Doc cut out two very small polyps and expects good results from the pathology.

Tuesday was an Ember day. I swear that child was on speed! LOL Judy and I took her to The Crossings in Colonie.

Wednesday I had lunch with Joan and Gloria. We went to the Brassiere (sp?). The food was very good, and we had a good time sharing stories and laughing.

Thursday was another Em day. She was calmer, so I took her to Colonie Center to play in the play area, and we had lunch at Friendly's. She sure is a charmer. Everybody around us commented how friendly and verbal she is. Verbal? Em is a motor mouth sometimes.. LOL In all seriousness, Em's vocabularly and sentence structure are 8 to 12 months beyond her age of 2 years, 3 months, and people are drawn to a child of that age who talks as if she's 3 years old.

And now it’s Friday. A day at home. I told Ron I am not leaving this house except for an emergency. I have been on the go for probably three weeks, without a chance to be home, be laid back, play computer games, read a book, watch TV, etc.

I’ve done laundry, vacuumed, dusted, washed floors and generally picked up. Now I’m here blogging and soon will go to Pogo.com and play what has become my favorite game, Addiction Solitaire. The name is very suitable.

Exercise - Haven’t done much lately.

Gas prices - Sunoco in town hit $4.259 this week.

Today’s weather – It’s hot, muggy and overcast. T-storms are predicted. This is pretty much how it’s been all week.

Life lessons – I continually learn from the worst times of my life that when all is said and done, life goes on and how I react to events determines my emotional health.
